Walk For Ghana…
Help Stop The Spread Of Malaria
One Step At A Time

Concord Trinity United Methodist Church has joined forces with the organization Nothing But Nets to help fight malaria in Africa. Some of CTUMC’s youth have joined together to form a team that has raised more than $20,000 to buy mosquito bed nets. Now our team is planning a trip to go to Ghana, Africa, in the summer of 2010.
On Saturday, August 15, 2009, The Ghana Team is sponsoring a 5K charity, family-friendly Walk for Ghana in Clydesdale Park beginning at 9:00am. The walk is open to all ages and fitness levels. Plan to register early to secure your spot. Cost is $25 per adult, $10 for children ages 6-12, and free for children under age 5. All adult participants will receive a special Ghana t-shirt and children will receive special prizes at every stop.
